1Who is behind the Manufacturing Tech Council? What is your mission?
The Manufacturing Tech Council is operated by AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology in collaboration with Traction Technology Partners (TTP). AMT represents and promotes U.S.-based manufacturing technology and its members—those who design, build, sell, and service the continuously evolving technology that lies at the heart of manufacturing. TTP focuses on bringing together enterprise leaders with emerging technologies.
2Why should I join the Manufacturing Tech Council?
The Manufacturing Tech Council connects you to the right people in the manufacturing and tech industries to foster business, grow your network, and get new ideas. It provides an immensely valuable package of benefits to members, including Virtual Conferences, Council Meetings, a private Member platform for peer-to-peer networking and information sharing, a database of enterprise-ready startups, and a video archive of past sessions.
3Who can become a member of the Manufacturing Tech Council?
If you are a technology decision-maker within your organization, Council membership may be for you. The Manufacturing Tech Council is designed for manufacturing leaders and connectors who want to keep on top of emerging technologies in manufacturing, network with other manufacturing technology leaders, and help set the agenda for the industry. If you are passionate about manufacturing technology, we welcome you to apply.
4How does the Manufacturing Tech Council differ from other technology industry groups?
We are not a standards body or a technical organization. The Council is at the center of an ecosystem that works on many levels across the manufacturing technology industry, allowing you to connect with the right people and meet with the companies that can help you accomplish your business goals. We have deep experience on the business side of manufacturing tech and we work with large players as well as startups that give us a window on the very latest innovations.
5How much does the Manufacturing Tech Council membership cost?
Council membership is $3,800 annually and includes one primary membership and two team memberships.
6What does the membership fee include?
The Council membership package includes one primary membership plus two team memberships. Primary membership includes: Eight virtual conferences moderated by John Gallant, with presentations from VCs, experts, manufacturing tech practitioners, and founders of tech startups that are gaining traction in the marketplace. A members-only platform that helps you research emerging technologies, connect with members, view video archives of past sessions, and get knowledgeable answers to your questions as they arise. Profiles of each presenting company with contact information and access to online video recordings of each presentation. Two invitation-only meetings that connect members with each other and with key players in manufacturing technology, including the IMTS Experience – a curated tour of the largest manufacturing technology show in North American.
